Description
One of my Zero Waste bar soaps – this soap is only made “once in a Blue Moon”, hence the name. I use trimmings from other soaps to make balls that I place into the loaf randomly to create the “Moons”.
Our Blue Moon bar soap is scented with our signature “Seafoam” scent.
These are large bars weighing approximately 135 grams each.
Ingredients:
- Babassu Butter: A true indulgence, Babassu oil creates delightful bubbles while effectively cleansing and moisturising the skin.
- Wairarapa Virgin Olive Oil: Sourced from a local olive grove, olive oil offers soothing and hydrating benefits for the skin.
- Australian Rice Bran Oil: A fantastic addition to soap, rice bran is a skin-loving oil that softens and calms.
- Castor Oil: Nourishes the skin while creating long-lasting bubbles.
- Water and Sodium Hydroxide (Lye): Sodium hydroxide is used in the soap-making process, with no remnants left in the final product.
- Cosmetic Clays: Kaolin, Illite, and Bentonite clays enhance the silky feel of the soap and may impart natural colours from the oxides present in the clay.
- Plant Infusions: Includes Annatto, Indigo, Himalayan Rhubarb, Chamomile, Calendula, Coffee, Lavender, and Corn silk for added benefits.
- Essential Oils: Scented with a blend of Rosemary, Tea Tree and Eucalyptus, with potential traces of other essential oils.
*This is a limited edition soap, due to the availability of the “Soap Balls”.
**Babassu Butter is included in this batch as I had a surplus; this will be replaced with Coconut Oil in future batches.
