Description
One of our “Zero Waste” soaps, Rocky Road Bar Soap, looks like the Ice Cream. Made with one of our naturally luxurious soap recipes, this lovely creamy soap is enhanced with offcuts and chunks of all our other soaps. Weighing in at 140-145grams each, these are large, naturally luxurious bars.
Our Rocky Road Bar soap is enriched with Kaolin Clay and scented with a blend of Lemongrass and Peppermint, giving it a delicious, fresh, clean smell.
Our handmade soap is crafted in small batches in our workshop located in the heart of the Wairarapa using local and natural ingredients.
Ingredients:
- Babassu Butter: A true indulgence, Babassu oil creates delightful bubbles while effectively cleansing and moisturising the skin.
- Wairarapa Virgin Olive Oil: Sourced from a local olive grove, olive oil offers soothing and hydrating benefits for the skin.
- Australian Rice Bran Oil: A fantastic addition to soap, rice bran is a skin-loving oil that softens and calms.
- Castor Oil: Nourishes the skin while creating long-lasting bubbles.
- Water and Sodium Hydroxide (Lye): Sodium hydroxide is used in the soap-making process, with none remaining in the final product.
- Cosmetic Clay: Kaolin, Illite, and Bentonite clay enhance the silky feel of the soap and may impart natural colours from the oxides present in the clay.
- Plant Infusions: Includes Annatto, Indigo, Himalayan Rhubarb, Chamomile, Calendula, Coffee, Lavender, and Corn silk for added benefits.
- Essential Oils: Scented with Lemongrass and Peppermint, with potential traces of other essential oils.
*This is a limited edition soap, due to the availability of the soap offcuts.
**Babassu Butter is included in this batch as I had a surplus; this will be replaced with Coconut Oil in future batches.
